So our memory did serve us correctly, wow that is rare for us.
What we are trying to do is enable the Mini USB Plug as a USB Host allowing people to use External devices on the Kindle.

Lol I like your description, I too wish we could use otg on the kindle, would be great for me and movie watching, plug in my 1tb usb drive and have every movie and episode I've gotten so far able to be watched.
