500mah may be very noticeable
How has the battey been working for you? Do you feel a difference compared to stock? I was thinking about getting the gold batteries but wasn't sure.

I thought they were almost ready for the market when I read the 2 posts and was like "Damn!!" and I didn't pay attention to your number "5" next to the "note"!! ahahaha

For anyone in the future seeing this and thinks the battery technology is ready, I will quote from the article:

"The Northwestern University technology is expected to hit the marketplace in the next three to five years." Based on the article that's between 2014-2016.
Did you find my thread/post useful? A "Thanks" is all I need. Nothing more, Nothing less..

How is your experience with anker and the note. I'm dumping my oem for one.

I've had the Anker, Gold, and stock. I would say the Anker and Gold gives me 15% more juice than stock. The gold cost me $6, Anker cost me 2-3x. Running the gold for 3 months and still strong.

I've had more experience with anker from past devices. Do you prefer the Gold over the Anker. Or are they equal to you?

Gold since the price is cheap, I'll get a note 3 soon, performance is the same.

I like long walks, especially when they are taken by people who annoy me.

My original battery was dying, screen time with even Wifi dropped from 3 hours to 90 minutes max over the last year. It got really bad last a couple of months, as I had to charge it way more often and the charge cycles got even higher. I tried the Larza 5000 mAh extended but the battery door would not close properly, so I ended up buying the Anker 2700 mAh.

BEST $10 I have ever spent!

Wow and I was about to consider a Note 2, but this battery completely rejuvenated my phone. I am back at 3 hours screen time again, can probably go 4 hours if I stick to reading books/web pages on Wifi. The Anker is quite a bit heavier than the stock battery, maybe that is why it has the juice? I can now comfortably wait for Note 3, or Note 2 refurbish at a DEEP discount.

Expect a 10% increase from OEM, and a much much bigger increase IF you have abused a single OEM battery for the last entire year like I did. It was a 100% increase for me.
