I use LMT. There are other solutions out there, but this one is my favorite and intuitive for me with the trigger area for the "pie" set on the center bottom. Gives you all of the standard android keys, or you can set them up however you want. Look through the options, there's a lot you can customize.
Whatever you're going to use, set it up before you ditch the menu keys- it'll be a lot easier!
There is an app called full!screen that you can easily turn on and off. I didn't like it because it hides the system bar at the top as well as the soft keys when in use, and messes up incoming calls until you get it back. I also like the information on there, notifications, time, etc. I think once you try this out you won't miss the always-there soft keys. They take up a lot of space!
I would recommend a full backup in safestrap first in case things go bad. I didn't have any problems, but looking through this thread it looks like some have.
