I do not know about the apocalypse rom sound files but although you need to delete soundfx folder

it works on CM10.1 by wayland
(i used miui music) but when it played, and turned equalizer on, it forced close, (when equalizer is off, it's fine), any solution ?

I can confirm that it makes A LOT difference on headphones when using PowerAmp and you really shouldn't add a lot (if any?) bass in equalizers as it might blow you headphones out Or it only has to do with the metal music...

Anyway, much better that contradictor's beats+alsa and AC!D audio engine
