Warning to users, the Jelly Bean leak is not fully compatible with current cwm, the mounting locations are different. E3 recovery also makes changes to the system when first run and also does a full emmc check and cause's a boot loop if started and not completed.
I will produce new cwm/twrp/cwm touch that will be compatible.
This affects format/clear cache, install from zip which are the main ones. Will also test backups and restores in due course, with these changes in mind going back to a prior ROM for what ever reason may not be as easy. I will also try and test this.

I will upload a send space link tonight but I advise all users backup with twrp(I've tested my version to death), backup your boot loader and factory reset,
Most users will also notice that even though its smaller in size to some other ROMs it also takes longer to flash, this aso seems to be a vanilla ROM. No s voice though :banghead:

I installed this 9000lang and it solve my SMS issues! Thanks so much!

For now, can I follow the traditional process for rooting this ROM, or I have to do a different root?

It's rooted already I think, must admit its been so long since I installed it that I can't remember rooting or not, try Google play store and download super user, if that works out of the box then it's a 'unsecure kernel' and is already rooted. You just end up with a upgraded root su binary.

Dear Darkspr1te,

Not root access in this 9000lang ROM. I downloaded SuperUser, and BusyBox, and get the message: "thats device is unproperly rooted".

Are this JB stable?! The SMS issue remains in this update?!

Thanks!

Odin Flashable ICS recoveries
I ment to make these a while back, they are twrp & cwm recovery's for SHV-160L so you dont have to do the three steps of

Old method
Code:
samsungrecovery.tar
160l-update.zip
then any of the newer build i have produced.
New Method

Code:
twrp.tar
or
cwm.tar

This will also help those that cant get access to sd-card correctly, also supports ADB on both so you can access /emmc for USB STORAGE/EMMC and /sdcard for external sd-card

For user with bootloop issues, hanging on boot etc please use the cwm to do factory reset, a small bug in twrp makes it also hang, i will look into it later but for now cwm is the best bet for getting out of boot loops etc.

cheers all

NB. OP can you update front page with these files for SHV-E160L (recovery.img)
Attached Files
File Type: tar twrp-2-3-1-darkspr1te.tar - [Click for QR Code] (7.29 MB, 5434 views)
File Type: tar touch-cwm-5-8-4-darksprite.tar - [Click for QR Code] (6.83 MB, 61 views)
