I installed 10/02 nigtly after a FULL wipe, so the problem cant be that..

I had the same issue and moved back to the 20130208 nightly. All is fine now.

Yep, didn't notice this before, but after reading your post, I've checked and couldn't change alarm sound. Meanwhile, I've flashed latest nightly feb/13 and it didn't change. The settings button isn't no more available in all tabs, as stated by changelog, but the ability to set alarm sound didn't came back.
First boot after flashing feb/13 came up with a 'stuck system' message... rebooted into recovery, fixed permissions, re-wiped, and so far it seems to be ok.

No icon for me either on the 021212 nightly. It was also missing on the 11 nightly.
