If you prefer a manual way then type the following line in terminal (or using adb shell):

Code:
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk0 bs=1 count=1 seek=3145732
Be EXTREMELY careful if you're typing this manually. One mistake can brick your phone!

Confirmed to work with Gingerbread and JellyBean.

Re: [HOW-TO] Reset flash counter
I definitely wouldn't recommend that way to someone that doesn't know what those commands mean. If you want the easy way to reset the incremental flash counter download the app "triangle away". First make sure your phone is listed under supported devices, if it isn't you can check chain fires thread on xda and request it for your phone. Just so you know I wouldn't even worry I've sent phones back with just a factory reset and no one said a word. But if you want to reset it use triangle away.

Lol. It all happened due to the 9070 forum. But atleast convinced him to add support for our devices!

Ps : that app wasn't mine!

I do not respond to tech support via PM

Honestly told though...
"Redistribution not allowed" - Really? Well that's a very open and friendly attitude coming from a recognized developer on opensource scene...

The only working method to reset the counter on ace 2/s advance came from antsm (thx, for testers too ), someone built a very useful app using his method to help people do this easier and less risky, but this app is independent from TA, I can't understand why he had to remove from xda...

However I'm glad that TA will support our device, and I really appreciate the developers work but this attitude is so childish...
