I have a problem, and can't find any answer to it. I have Samsung Note 2, international version "N7100".

I installed cyanogenmod 10.1 "cm-10.1-20130212-NIGHTLY-n7100.zip" yesterday from their site. Was working fine except for for booting. When I boot the device the logo of "Samsung Note II" goes crazy and messed up. And I do not see the Cynogenmod boot animation. And the screen stays black. But pressing the volume up or down makes sound as if there are working fine, with nothing on the screen. If I press anything on the screen, it seems to work, as I tried to memorize the position of a certain app, and found out that I opened it while the screen was blank. The vibration of pressing or choosing something on the screen was working, so I am assuming it was working. After a minute or two minutes, I have to press the home button, and the screen shows OK, and works fine.

This happens ever single time I restart or power on the device.

I tried to change the boot animation to the official and to unofficial, but I don't get any boot logo or animation.

I tried to download the "Boot Animation" app from play store, and after downloading and installing a boot animation, I apply it, and choose preview current. And I still get nothing on the screen. Blank screen. But I can press the back button and it takes me back normally.

here is what I did:
1. Rooted
2. Installed Clockwork Mod recovery
3. Factory wipe, cache wipe, dilvak wipe (not sure if I spelled these right, but did them anyway)
4. Installed Cynogenmod 10.1

Now I updated with "cm-10.1-20130213-NIGHTLY-n7100.zip"... but the problem is still there.

Can anyone help please?

That I do know, I was asking cause I wasn't sure if it could be just merged to 4.2.1 or if an upgrade to 4.2.2 was necessary... And in the case of an upgrade, I doubt Codeworkx is going to go with that

Hi, long time lurker here. Haven't had a problem I couldn't fix/ wasn't my fault until now...

I have been updating Nightlies almost every time there is a new one since December but in the last 2 I have found that when I switch on my GPS I don't get an icon, flashing or otherwise, in my notification bar.

Previously, I had a GPS icon flashing to show it was searching for my position, or stable to show it had locked on. Now I get nothing. I also found that my position on Google Maps was jumping around and facing the wrong way when using it last night.

I'm not sure if anyone here has the same problem. I noticed in the 10th Feb Nightly changelog there was a "Revert GPS changes until issues are resolved" commit.

I have updated to the latest (13th Feb) Nightly but I still have the same problem. Considering reverting to a backup that worked but I like the flip to silence feature on the latest ones.

Appreciate any suggestions/ help.

So why's exactly this bug with slider shortcuts icons not fixed yet? Basically custom icons disappear after I set them.

I've fixed notification in AOSP Calendar so that it lights Notification LED if a device has it or if BLN is enabled.

Feel free to test if BLN works with calendar events and you can hit thanks if it works to not spam this thread unnecessarily

CM10.1.Calendar1302.Patched.Rawi666

Enjoy

Working ok here. Are you sure you're pressing the save button?

Nexus will cost me half of any other smartphone, that means I can update just after 8months-1year. I usually change phone after ~1.5years.
On WP8, I hate the world at this end. Dying to trade my Lumia 920 for a Nexus 4.
