[ROMS] Unofficial AOKP JB 4.2.2 Builds [PUB][May - 21] (mako/manta/maguro/toro/m7)
These are unofficial AOKP builds. Please do not post in official AOKP threads with bugs or negative experiences possibly specific to these builds.
I've compiled AOKP using Steve Spear's Project Unicorn Butter (PUB) optimizations for the following devices:
Nexus 4 - mako
Nexus 10 - manta
Galaxy Nexus GSM - maguro
Galaxy Nexus CDMA - toro
HTC One - m7 (experimental)
I own and test the first three devices to ensure the builds are functional prior to uploading. Verizon Galaxy Nexus is completely untested, but there is no reason I can think of that it would not work if the maguro build does.
These builds contain all the same features as mainline AOKP, but with compiler, ARM architecture, and additional optimizations offered by PUB.
I will continue to sync and build new versions whenever there are major AOKP updates, or they release a new milestone or stable build.
The installation instructions are straightforward:
1. Download build for your device
2. Download latest gapps here:
http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20130301-signed.zip
3. Install both using TWRP or CWR (ROM, then GAPPS)
4. Wipe cache and dalvik (if coming from AOKP) / Factory Reset (if from another ROM)
5. Toggle your swagger on
Current Build Date: May 21st, 2013
Current Release: Milestone 1 (
info ) + merged
commits
Download:
All builds can be found here:

Mediafire Mirror for builds (3/5 and newer):

Mega Mirror for builds (5/7 and newer):

Current Builds (5/21/13):
Changes:
-mako kernel is now stock kernel (AOKP decided to use their own repo by default, instead of faux's enhanced stock)
-tuna kernel is now stock (cyanogenmod), since I could not build leankernel on darwin (OS X)
-all builds are now build on darwin (OS X), and are a bit smaller in size (due to more png optimization?)

Steven.k.spear for setting up PUB, and making it possible to continue to build these while he is taking a break from development.
And of course, the entire AOKP team for their hard work and innovation.
Let's use this thread to discuss these PUB builds.

For anyone who stumbles upon this thread, I can confirm that the Toro build above works perfectly fine. Been using it for 2 days now.

I'm running build 3 at the moment (mr3) do I need to wipe data to update to the pub krait version or will I be fine?

No need to wipe data, just cache and dalvik. You should be able to switch back and forth between mainline and PUB builds without wiping any user data.

Yes, essentially. I updated the first post to be more specific about that and hopefully clarify it for future readers. Thanks.
