I'm buying a new bike soon and would like to mount my one s to the bike so that I can use one of those bike apps to track my rides. There are a lot of mounts out there but having a hard time finding any that claim to fit the one s well. I found this one from htcpedia
But they only offer a handle bar mount to go with that case and I would really prefer a stem mount. Any one have any suggestions?

The one you linked here is great if you're going for a smooth road biking.
But if you're like me, riding MTB in Singles, downhills and such, this wouldn't be enough...
For several years now, with several different smartphones I've been using this:

I also recommended it to a friend who's using SGS2 and also very happy with it.

Re: bike stem mount
Doesn't look like it would hold it angle very well with just that fabric strap

Re: bike stem mount
First of all mine is waterproof.
As for connection, I used 2 plastic fasteners to connect it to the stem with great success.

I bought mine from Deal Extreme (item reference 139203)

not waterproof but solidly holds the phone - have used for several months on road and light off road use..

Man,

I'm glad you're satisfied!
I was too worried from such a mount with my off-road biking habits and am very pleased with mine as it's durable and water-proof.
