Try lowering the values for screen.on and screen.full and see what happens. Do you have a lux meter?

What do the numbers in the files represent? I can't quite work them out. Are the % of 100% or milivolts or miliamps or what?

They are all in mAh.

Found my lux meter.

Original 04_power_profile.xml:

276.541

472.885

Screen off: 1 lx (from ambient light).
Brightness at 100%, Super IPS off. Measured in center of white screen (Jota+ text editor with empty document): 498 to 500 lx.

Modified 04_power_profile.xml to:

76.541

72.885

Rebooted.
Brightness at 100%, Super IPS off. Measured in center of white screen (Jota+ text editor with empty document): 499 to 500 lx.

Hello _that,
I've had what I could call a "grey screen of death", a system freeze with a light grey blank screen and a strip on one of the sreen edges. It's an issue I had a couple of times before and seems to happen after a screen rotation. I've googled a bit and it could be gpu related. I was using your OC kernel and, since I was on data2sd with journaling disabled, my ext4 partition became corrupted and I had to reinstall everything from a nandroid. Now I'm on your non-oc kernel and I'll see what happens.
Had you heard about this "grey screen of death" before? I suppose my tegra chip can handle cpu overclocking but can't handle gpu overclocking. Can gpu clock be controlled via an app?

Yes, I've seen it myself a few times (even without overclocking), see this thread:

No, as far as I know. As said, I am no expert when it comes to overclocking, I just ported clemsyn's work to the latest kernel.

Thank you for your answer. It seems that the issue isn't gpu related but a bug introduced in jelly bean that can happen when the screen rotates from landscape to portrait. I think it's a serious bug (I've had it too many times) and Asus should take care of it.

It is possible , i do have that ability with my gs2 (gt9100 samsung) with ExTweaks (see screenshot)... I think we are still awhile away for that sort of functionality with our tf700 ... gs2 has been around for ever and development has been crazy - took them along time to OC and master also.

Also, for those interested: Perfmon by xda's chainfire is awsum for monitoring cpu loads/mhz, net io / disk io and is floating app !
