It's better "only" to have fat32 which makes the 64gb usable instead of not being able to use it at all.

Onlu problem i see with it is 4gb limit..Rest its great that at least its supported..There mite be a way around it in the future maybe.

For now exFAT is the only way.
The other way how I did it was:

I just rar the file and split it into several parts, that way I can put all the parts on my card and then extract the lot on my card.
Would be cool if someone*Cough* me *Cough* build an app that did it all for you.

Mine is a Sandisk microSDXC 64GB card.

When I first inserted the card into the phone, it would say that the card is not supported and asked if I wanted to format the card. When I select the "OK" option, it formats the card and it's all ready to be used.

Can you by any chance format the card with exFAT (Using windows right click format and then select exFAT) and see if the phone reads the MC?

I've already done that. It is not recognized by the ZL, Z should be the same.

I wonder if any of those also supports being mounted from SD, since we can't be sure about that. I'll head out to the store and pick up a microSD to SD thingy later today.

It will be the same for the Z/ZL

Due to NTFS and exFat patent, there is no driver implementation in the kernel for those formats in standard (custom kernel is another story)
