Re: SGH-T999 Galaxy S III Chat Thread!

Just watched This is 40 this weekend. Not as funny as I expected it to be, but my favorite line was:

Debbie (Leslie Mann): Who poops for 30 minutes?

Pete (Paul Rudd): John Goodman

For sure both those movies were great, this is 40 had a support realistic humor, like that ish happens in day to day life but now with Paul Rudds awkward smarta$$ comments lol.

This is still one of the funniest movies I have seen.

OP instead of Off Topic Thread, Rename it to "Chat Thread" it fits better and makes the thread more open for discussion

True, I just watched it about a month ago for the first time. I know I was a little behind, even for being 23.

I watched The Watch the other day with Vince Vaughn, Ben Stiller and Jonah Hill. That movie was nothing like I thought it would be. It was funny but had no idea it was a sci-fi flick.

That surprised me too, I'll watch anything with Vince Vaughn, he has a way with words lol.

Re: SGH-T999 Galaxy S III Chat Thread!

@mtg3 you have a good taste in movies as most of those you posted I have watched except for the kitty movies lol.. But here's a few you might want to check out and for others too.

Lockout---mindless action full of cheezy one liner, not to be taking too seriously.
Dazed and confused--- based in the late 70's so it's just a fun movie to watch with no hidden plot line just a group of teenagers hanging out.
Breakfast club---if somehow you haven't watch this one
Sixteen candles---1980's movie kinda like a chick flick that's not superbly complicated, watch it with a girl though, that's what I did and it's better lol.
Footlose---usually I hate dancing movies but this one hits a good balance, like it cause I'm also a rebel lol
Death sentence - - - good plot and while not exactly "realistic", exciting to watch.
Blade 1 and 2---Wesley snipes and vampires
Money train-- - Wesley and Woody Harrelson
White men can't jump---snipes and woody
Face off---cage and Travolta
Gone in 60 seconds
Matchstickmen
Lord of war
The Devils advocate
Donnie brasco
Carlitos way

I did mention Goodfellas and Casino, I love Heat and all the Ice Cube films too. Inception is a movie I still have yet to watch, I have it on BluRay but can never sit still long enough and pay attention to what is going on so I always turn it off after 30 minutes or so lol. Those are some good ones too though, looks like I'll be going to Amazon with my new list of stuff to get, thanks guys!!

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Imma gonna show my age here. I remember when every one one of those movies came out, including Sixteen Candles and the original Footloose.

When I was in college and couldn't sleep for one reason or another, all I had to do was put in the Matrix (1) and I would be out within the first :20. I have no idea why but that movie puts me to sleep to this day. I have probably seen it from start to finish 4 times, maybe. But in pieces, I have probably seen it 30 times.

I met my wife on Valentine's Day 13 years ago. We worked together for about a week or so and were part of the Lonely Hearts Club that night. We hung out all night together and ever since.

I'm 23 so ya lol. I have movie like one of my favorites but watching The Bucket List or Into The Wild, either of those go on after midnight and I'm usually out like a light. I really kinda hope I don't meet my future wife tonight, that'd suck I love being a single guy living alone lol.

Nice to see I am not the only old fart. Funny, I still feel 25 but my body is telling me otherwise. I remember the Dewey decimal system. Now with Google there is no reason every kid should not have strait "A"s

For those not familiar with Dewey here is a link...

Now stay out of my yard!

Re: SGH-T999 Galaxy S III Chat Thread!

I still like Top Gun and the Jurassic Park series. First one is the best, second one is OK probably because of Goldblum, third one is somewhat watchable.

+1. If they want to shove ads in our faces, they should create a free version for that. It's not cool to charge for an app and include ads.

Yeah not cool at all... And it was in my favorite topic section too... I cant remove it. I was like wtf is this. Like towle stated... We paid for this app... Ads are unacceptable
