does anyone know if the x920d have NFC inside but just not software enabled?

if not, is it possible to add NFC to the x920d?

I don't believe the NFC chip was included on the x920d

No NFC on x920d
And I don't think it's possible to add NFC chip on your own.

NFC is not part of SOC so it pretty likely that X920D physically lacks NFC chip.
Though if X920D was having NFC chip and external charging contacts, it would be ultimate phone, packed with top-notch features.
Though for me NFC is no use at all. Moreover, I talked to friends who do have phones with NFC and every single one said that it is pretty useless nowadays.
