I updated my OT-997D with the One Touch Upgrade Tool to the latest official ROM (vB5Y-0). But I certainly lost the root after the upgrade. The problem is that I could not root it again with the previously used method ('Root_with_recovery_by_bin4ry').

Could someone help me? Which method/tool should I use to root my phone again?

of course it does.
if there is a problem , you can reset your device , then prepare it , if it doesn't work , you have to go to the agent to solve this problem.

Use mtkdroidtools instead. I was in a similar situation before. I re-updated my phone thru the onetouch upgrade using a pc, then rooted it thru mtkdroidtools and i got root again.

Just a question for the people using the new vBF4-0 version. Where are you guys from? I'm beginning to think that the vBF4-0 version is not available worldwide, since a lot of us didn't get it when we used Onetouch upgrade or OTA updates.
