I install me to ubuntu and backtrack 5 and aircrack-ng and work very nice...i wait for firmware of BCM4334 wifi chip to have monitor mode support...BCM4329 and BCM4330 from nexus and gakaxy s 2 have support and its working with aircrack.

it's happen on stock kernel too , i tried to lock the 4 cores with performance governor and its still laggy

do u think its somthing with memory allocated to GPU isn't enough ? or something else?

edit : i've searched a bit and i found it happen on GS3 too even the US version which running different SOC but the weird thing it didn't happen on my s2 i can play 1080p on popup without any lag or stuttering O_o

And the fact that 4.1.1 was smooth makes it even more confusing.

This kernel make me random reboot every 3 minutes. I dont change a thing in tweaks

What rom are you on?
I use this kernel with omega. no tweaks as it is butter smooth and no sods or whatever either.

Did you do a cache wipe and dalvik cache wipe? it sometimes helps.

Otherwise try a clean rom install.
Maybe when you're rom is updated.

Everything is so much smoother if you clean install instead of update a rom.

Hey i would like to try this kernel but i'm bit confused with what is says in the end of a first post: "TL;DR: before flashing"
To flash the latest version of this kernel i just flash a .tar file with odin, right? Sorry for a stupid question but this is my first samsung's device. Flashing kernel method on htc was a different. Thanks

You can flash the tar version with Odin or MobileOdin, or the zip version with any custom recovery.

i'm on omega 12. i did the wiping of dalvik and cash. i flashed it two times. every time that display turn off after 5 seconds i have restart. after system starting up and display turn off again the system rebooting again.
