He said it was okay to run with 2.1 since he didn't see any major changes in the kernel between the two versions.

Default AW: [KERNEL][GPL] franco.Kernel - r6

Unfortunately I've got extreme WiFi issues on latest build r6 which I thought was solved by setting frequency to 2.4 GHz only

Seems to be stable for some minutes now but before I had drops every 20-30 seconds and strength was flipping between 1 and 4 every 2 seconds constantly

I will say it again: I didn't make a single change in Wi-Fi. Although what I can do is merge newer Wi-Fi drivers from Google, that might help something.

I don't have any Wi-Fi problems, just for the record.

R7 is a beast! Running interactive and all is good, I can also confirm better WiFi performance with the new drivers
