No, images have to be flashed via fastboot. Just reboot into your bootloader, extract all the .img files to a folder, then go to a command prompt with your N10 plugged into USB and do:

fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img

That'll get you on 4.2.2 stock. At that point, you can re-root using whatever method you choose. Your bootloader will still be unlocked, your data will still be intact, etc.

Thanks. I have Mark Skippen's Nexus 10 toolkit which made it super-easy to flash the images and then re-root. Everything is great and I have 4.2.2 now. The only thing more I could ask for (on general principals of wanting) would be multi windows but I have Super Video and Floating Browser which are the things I would run in multi windows anyhow.

Default Re: [REF] Nexus 10 Stock OTA URLs

My nexus 10 had jop40f out of the box and now I'm on 4.2.2 jdq39. I went to settings, apps, all and force stopped/cleared data for Google services framework, checked for update and it pulled the update immediately. I also managed to save root. So I'm running an unlocked rooted stock jb 4.2.2 JDQ39 nexus 10 and I love this thing!

Try this http://lmgtfy.com/?q=how+do+I+manual...10+OTA+updates

I'm not trying to be snippy here but nobody is going to spoon feed something like this to you. You might want to also get Skipsoft's Nexus 10 toolkit. It comes about as close spoon feeding Nexus 10 stuff as you will ever get. I will tell you the OTA update will break your root but the toolkit will reroot it. But make sure you do a Nandroid backup you know will work before doing anything. After that, if you have problems the community is here and will help.

Thanks, I was able to do it using adb sideload. OTA rootkeeper restore my root with no problem.

BTW, thats a really cool way to indirectly tell people to google it .

I will use that at work next time..

Default trying to go stock to get the update.

I have a rooted nexus 10 that has a bootloader version MantalJ12. I am unlocked trying to restore my n10 to stock to get the ota but all attempts to return to stock fail in attempt being aborted. I have twrp 2.4.0 installed and am running cm 10.1-20130218 nightly. These are the messages i am getting while trying. I even downloaded the ota and tired to install it thru recovery and it failed numerous times.

I'm not sure if you can get the OTA from anything except the stock ROM and recovery. I just restore 4.2.1, installed a stock recovery, got the OTA, installed TWRP, backed it up and restored my custom ROM. I use TWRP 2.3.3.0 as I and others had problems with 2.4.0 and never tried 2.4.1.0.

Hi everyone,

Would someone be willing to flash back to JOP40C and see if there's a direct update from JOP40C to JDQ39? There's one for the other Nexus devices so it seems logical that there'd be one for the Nexus 10 as well. I would do it myself except my bootloader is locked and I don't really feel like wiping my tablet. haha

Also, if anyone has a nandroid of JVP15P and wouldn't find flashing back to that to see if there's a JVP15P to JDQ39 OTA, I might just buy you a beer!

Thanks!
