if your counter is 'No' then you need not to re root again
just wipe cache and data from recovery it should be 'Normal'

Hi Folks, I got my N7105 yesterday, (comming from Galaxy S,rooted and flashed several rom's)
Now I'm a bit anxious to root my new phone, what if I have a warranty issue (e.g. hardware failure)
I know how to go back to stock and all that, but I can't find a stock rom for my carrier, Telstra Australia.
But, if I root to methode 1 in the thread, from my unterstanding, I should be able to unroot the phone and set the counter back to 0
whitout having to flash a stock rom if something should happen...
I will definetely root and flash after a couple of weeks, when there are no hardware issues.

sorry for my bad english...

When flashing ROMs or leaving the lavatory its always important to wipe.

I have two questions. 1) Do I absolutely have to reset the flash counter before unrooting? (brick dangers) And 2) If I unroot back to stock firmware, will I be able to update using Kies again? Or will it only work with Odin? Thanks in advance.

1 . it's for warranty purpose
2. Yes once it is unrooted and flash stock rom you will get kies /ota updates.

I've got a question. .

Once i flash a stock rom via mobile odin and use triangle away. And then flashing stock rom via the computer odin.
There will be no issues with warranty right?

Yes, there is no issue with flashing with pc odin. As stock rom won't raise counter.

You should have stock recovery (Method A in post#2)
If you already have stock recovery(CF Auto root) then reset counter first
then wipe cache + wipe data(factory reset) + re wipe cache
You should now have system status 'official'
I have a question about this. I just rooted my Galaxy note 2 N7105 using CF-Auto-Root, and ran Triangle Away to wipe the flash counter.

However now I have a question about this step to restore my system status to Official. How am I suppose to wipe cache when I don't have CWM installed? I'm new to samsung devices, previously using a Desire HD (rooted and custom recovery), so I'm not sure how am I supposed to wipe cache with stock recovery. I'm not intending to install a custom recovery because I do not need it.

Would like some input for anyone who simply want to use stock rooted Note 2. How do you get it back to official status?
