I think it has something to do with airview.

It's not always. But it occurs sometimes right after I take the s pen out and go straight hovering over something with airview support.

Tried in gallery. No lag on air view. Only very slight lag on one folder, but this contains lots of big images off my DSLR. Has always done that even on stock ROM.

I hope I'm not late; Don't flash this ROM if it's a T-Mobile Note II . This is intended only to the international model (N7100, no LTE/4G). I've read more a few reports of owners of US variants having rather serious problems after flashing international ROMs. BTW make an EFS backup

That's true. Performance are not friendly with this ROM.
I don't know about other roms, but stock is certainly more fluid than this (not really much, of course).
I tried to remove some bloatware and I'm gonna install perseus kernel to overclock processor.
I'm gonna keep it cause I really like the aosp look (or maybe Samsung theme customization sucks )
Anyway is there any other thing I can do to make the rom lighter?
Keep in mind that theme is the only think I'd like to add from stock.
So which Alliance added apps are the most heavy?

We don't add anything to the ROM other than RC, Custom settings, Torch and SU. There are the optional FONT apks that are installed with the default installation package as well.
