Awesome I'm having great results with 4.1.2 kernel. 2nd core boost set to 0
Hey guys, I was messing with some of the settings mentioned in the first few posts and my phone started randomly rebooting. I figured it was probably just the voltage settings being too low, so I reset them back to the kernel defaults. Then my phone only stays responsive for a couple minutes then blacked out, so I turned the max freq down and now I have no touchscreen. So I can't even unlock the phone... Help. I'd really like to avoid a clean wipe if possible.
update: did a restore from a backup made earlier today. No change. Still no touchscreen...

if you did the backup before playing with everything, it could be your digitizer going out... sadly the only way to tell is to write everything, if this doesn't fix it, Odin back to complete stock and bring it in for repair... if you have to go that route, don't forget to test the flash counter
*just reminded myself I may want to throw that into the FAQ! *

Thanks. I just did a full wipe, cache, dalvik and restored from a backup made a few hours before playing with everything. No luck. Looks like I may need to make a trip to Sprint tomorrow. could you link me the instructions on how to get everything stock and reset flash count?

Going back to stock, click the link in my sig, fir resetting the flash counter, check back in a few minutes for a link to the thread for triangle away....
Start here, read the op, the app is pretty self explanatory, but it's always good to read before messing with new things Triangle away thread and app, click here after doing this follow the link in my FAQ for UNROOTING & UNBRICKING.. then you are completely stock with no signs of root whatsoever and good to bring it to Sprint! Good luck :thumbup::thumbup:

If the touch screen isn't working, and you have to go through all that just flash an International GS3 rom which will brick the phone and they won't get it working and they will replace it. Just another suggestion, if taking it back.

Didn't even think about that... but honestly, most Sprint tech's don't know their head from their hand, just Odin stock and bring it in, play dumb if they notice
