What is the relation of NFC feature with the battery? Cannot understand. Can you please share your battery backup experience?

I got one of these two weeks ago for £9.99 delivered in the UK. Absolutely unbelievable performance, it makes it feel like I have a new phone. I've spent more on a hardcase before! I'm sure the alternatives are better, but for under a tenner this is a no brainer. And I have never used NFC so much as once, and I can't see that changing soon
