Getting weird battery stats after flashing the new kernel. It seems to hang on the same % after taking it off charge. Had to reboot the phone to get the stats back to normal. This is on cm10.1. Any chance this has to do with the usb fast charge mod?

Decided to go for it before I saw your response, Lol. Running strong on the latest Feb15 update 4.2.2. Solid as hell, though might reflash my modem. I think it's confused since all the rom, and kernel flashing, Lol. Not as strong, but still feels like full signal. unless the icon is just wrong? Anyone? Lol

There is an issue with the "icon" on AOSP. ReFlashing the radio will not help signal strength as long as you have LL4.

TEST your download speeds on multiple towers from various servers around the country to get a feel for the speeds you are getting.

Didn't reflash, and thanks for the icon notice. Using LK8, LL4 was to slow for me. Ended up having to reflash PA latest anyways, kernel caused bootloops after it finally settled. Everything seems good now, but won't knkw till rom settles in a few days, so. We'll see, but thanks for the intel.

So this kernel bootlooped on 4.2.2 PA ? Or you just reflashed?

It bootlooped, yes. I had to reflash PA4.2.2, yes. I ended getting stuck on bootloop, no matter what I did to fix it. Clean install after, minus kernel fixed everything.

I reflashed because I made the mistake of not making a Nand before flashing the kernel. This may be a AOSP rom, but things in PA don't get along with the "Force". Implementing that PA must be from the Darkside, Lol.

PTmr3 is there a 4.2.2 kernel in the works? It really worked well on 4.2.1 Roms. Thanks

Impressive benchmarks. This thing feels real fluid. Gotta give it a day or two for battery results. Hope its good to go then I might be able to kick touchwiz to the curb :D

Will this kernel thread still be updated now that you have your own aosp rom + force?

while probably not ideal, you can download his version of CM and overwrite the boot.img from this thread's zip file so that it will flash the latest version of the kernel. that's what i did and now my AOKP build is running ForceKernel 5.0.

i also went ahead and copied the modules over, just in case there were any changes.

What in the world?! What ROM and CPU settings were you running ptmr?

Also, does this ROM support undervolting?

He despises it because CPUs are very efficient now and not the battery hog they once were. There is no need to under volt a CPU now. In addition people undervolting cause instability and make the kernel look unstable when it is far from the truth. Sorry if I got it wrong...

General FYI: This Kernel "DOES" work w/ MOST AOSP Roms w/ The Exception of Carbon.

I Had in Running on PA 3. (Past The Boot Animation And Black Screen, Using Apps Etc..)
    2
Installed the kernel on the latest release of AOKP MR1 build 3. Absolutely no problems and a noticeable increase in power management. The kernel that comes with build 3 isn't too great in power management. It would deep sleep OK but the scaling was ridiculous. 200 to 400 and straight to 1600mhz. This kernel does well in scaling and deep sleep. With the added bonus of additional governers and increased clock speed maximum. Very stable throughout the day. Good job as always. I ran Jedi Master for 2 months before sampling AOKP. Simply put, your stuff just works. Consistently. Some builds tend to deteriorate through time regardless of cache management but yours do well to maintain performance and stability.
