For anyone wondering, I used the file for HBOOT 1.09 with my Telus HOX with HBOOT 1.11 and all is well. Would also like to report the first command, fastboot erase cache, worked fine as well for me.

I got mixed results. My red text is gone, but now instead of the white screen with the red text I have a black screen with an outdated android text logo. :-/ I went from 1.14 to 1.09. AND I have the loading bar in the top right corner when booting into TWRP, but that doesn't bother me as much.

Can we flash a 1.14 without the text? How?
