How do I install a different one? I prefer the Nexus "X".

As for the bar before TWRP, who knows... maybe I never noticed it before.

EDIT: I tried and tried to change my boot animation, but couldn't, so I dirty flashed CM10.1 and that restored the CM boot animation. If anyone can still help me, I'd appreciate it.

Yeh I am trying to get that to work and I have a compiled dll but when opening up the exe and clicking create zip I get an error. If you check the plugin thread you will see my post asking for help

Is it ok to do this if I have the Viper Rom? Where do I get the zip image and is that just a boot screen with the red lettering gone? What is the big deal about the red lettering?

it's mostly cosmetic really. the phone still works as intended with the red text just some people don't like it there including myself.

So then whos feeling brave today??

I have 2 test files below, one is HBoot 1.09 and one is HBoot 2.14, both have the red text removed but they also have the tampered text removed

Now these are both untested and cause cause a brick so take caution and as always I can not held responsible for these files and you flash at your own risk!

HBoot 1.09: http://d-h.st/d4M
HBoot 2.14: http://d-h.st/QhR

Personally I think these will simply remove the text and you will be left with a grey box that says nothing but please do test and please reply and let us know how it went and post a screenshot of the finished result

I have 1,14 but I'm S-Off so does it matter? Can I use the original files in this first initial post you made?

For now but if we can get this working and tested we can then work it into the program that lets you modify text
