good night, i have a Galaxy I989 from T-Mobile, this device is not my device, its a device of a friend, i do not know that my friend make it with his cellphone but this device do not turn on, i saw a application for Linux (Ubuntu) that can fix it but this app is for galaxy s device, this device do not turn on but when i connect it to my computer, my laptop make a sound and then my laptop ask me for a device drivers.....what i can do?

Well that sucks, but maybe you should bother to read what section you are in....this is the i777 section

if u have installed the drivers u should give ODIN a try... try to restore it to stock if still nothing it might be the lcd
cuz your motherboard is being recognized by the computer

i installed this drivers, but, windows say me that it can no be installed, i do not know why, i am using windows 7 64B
