This thread reminds of the threads from times long past with a collection of sounds for sliding open/closed the HTC Herald's keyboard. For the longest time I use the communicator flip open/close sounds from Star Trek TOS. Now THOSE would make some neat sounds for the S-pen, anybody happen to have them around?

I downloaded the light saber files and changed the name and copied and pasted then change the permissions. When I go to play it, box pops up and says it has failed. Any ideas?

Thank you

Could it have anything to do with file size? I noticed the factory file size is around 4.73K and light saber I think is 32B.

Thank you

I've changed all kinds of sounds without even looking at file size, I've even used a music clip as a shutdown sound. I have run into issues if you don't name the sound exactly right. Like power on sound is PowerOn.ogg, if you don't capitalize, it won't work.

I double checked everything but still no go. I even copied another sound file and it worked. I might be losing something on download. I will try downloading on my computer and transfer to the phone to see what happens.
