toaster strudal does not have a DNA #1 nor has he every created a rom. so he cannot test any of these tweaks. He is my friend in real life(along with utkaar) so i know. You can check his sig. There doing this just to piss me off. Again check early posts when he said that this rom bricked his phone

these tweaks do actually work, if they didn't then people wouldn't being noticing a difference. if read past comments and even the video you will see they work. i got these tweaks in various threads in XDA, most of which have 1000s of thanks. If they didnt work they wouldnt have these.

Toaster Strudels is trolling lol, but yeah some of the tweaks don't have a huge impact, while others do. Like Mustafa said, me and him have some of the same tweaks and to me it works. If the user likes it, then that's great! That gives the dev more motivation to work on his rom. The video in the OP certainly is a good example

We are called Team Hatka for a reason, so we're going to be helping each other a lot with things but if credit isn't given where credit is due, things are gonna get rowdy (trust me, I've seen some devs get smashed hard for stealing work)

Nonetheless, everyone starts somewhere. Nowhere to go but up

Mustafahadaking, I know a lot more about Android, ROM Developing, and Programming than you do. I have built a ROM before, it was compiled from source and was AOSP, not sense. I know about build prop tweaks and init.d tweaks and theyre BS. You STILL have not proved how you achieve "better signal" and all this other blatant ****. I just want you to be straightforward about the ROM you are putting out. And you need to fix your attitude, man!

shouldnt be hard. im not going to respond a again to this troll. you may think they are BS, but the threads i got them from all have postive comments and so do my rom. Again even in the video the guy said he got better signal. A mod can close this thread if they wish. i'm going to update this rom anymore

I dont think you understand what COMPILING from source is. You don't release source for something you compiled... And wtf? Did you just say to "post my GPL"? GPL means general public license... Sorry but I don't create licenses.

This is as awkward as walking in on your parents when you were 8.... Lol JK!

But I can say this ROM with Elkays kernel gives me ridiculous battery life...especially when using wifi. Biggest savings seem to when not in use..the battery never seems to go down!

Best ROM thus far

Everyone's gotta have SOMETHING to say, just because they like to talk. Now, onward to REAL feedback about the ROM:

Frickin LOVE that Titanium and Dropbox are default applications. This allowed me to flash the ROM and get everything back the way I like it within 15 minutes (minus actual app install time, I've a few). I know, I know, I could just sign into the market and get them but this saves me the steps. I'm not unintelligent, I'm lazy. I have tried the other "acceptable" ROMs for this device and have a few gripes about them, But not here.

Right off the top, screen orientation transistions seem to happen faster than I've seen previously, both stock and with other ROMs I've flashed. ROM is NOTICIBLY fast right off the bat. Data IS a bit faster. Tested in the same location (my office desk) before and after flash three times each with full battery. Consistently pulled 18,700-ish kbps before, 22k AFTER flash. I'm not say saying everything works flawlessly every time, but I like math. It always works.

After all is said and done, I'll be running this as my "production" ROM. My only gripe so far is that the inline wifi tether crashes and I haven't been able to do anything to fix it as of yet.

You have to move wifitether.apk from system/app to data/app

Also permissions on mine were set to RW - -. Moved the apk, changed permissions to RW R R and set device profile to generic wlan0 and working perfectly now. Thanks!

Same here, it loads the launcher, acquires voice and data signal and when I try to unlock it the screen turns blank with the notification bar which then disappears and then restarts. Tried it with all three launcher options.

EDIT: Phone reboots at unlock screen, even when I don't try to unlock the screen.

EDIT#2 I just realized that this is an old ROM. I used restored using teamwin and it all appears fine, but what's with the numbering? The current ROM is 2.1.0 and the 2.6.0 is from Jan?

EDIT#3 I'm now royally confused, apparently this ROM is still being used, I upgraded here after the Slim 2.1.0 320DPI.

Hey I'm using the version with the aosp lock screen, does anyone know how to turn off the vibrate when I try to unlock the screen? Its a bit annoying. Thanks!

I was wondering if I had S-off on my device, Do I need to do the boot.img over fastboot part? Also, i´m looking the Boot.img for 2.6 and doesn´t seems to be anywhere.

MD5 Hash Values Don't Compare

I've downloaded the Hatka DNA 2.6.0.zip from the main TX server, from the Canada mirror, and from the AZ mirror; all three downloads have a different MD5 check sum, and none match with what it is supposed to be. In fact the file on the main TX server is about 1 MB smaller than the files downloaded from the mirrors.

Has anyone else had a problem with this? In don't want to cause instability on my device if files are corrupted.
