Working OK for me using Firefox.
Anyone had any joy getting Demand5 videos to play?
I keep getting "this protected content cannot be displayed on this mobile platform" message. Google search brings no answers so thought I'd ask thems that might know.

I will upload a ZIP for the 4.2.2 version of the Browser. Note that it will only contain the Browser.apk since a 4.2.2 ChromeSync has not yet been released by AOSPA or CM. I recommend flashing this over my most recent ZIP.

Websites can detect if you are using a mobile device. The way to trick them is to change Settings>Advanced>User Agent to Desktop. Post your results.

4.2.2 BROWSER

This ZIP contains only the 4.2.2 Browser. A 4.2.2 ChromeSync still hasn't been released and once it is I will update with a full ZIP. For now I recommend flashing this update over the previous ZIP I posted seeing as how many of you have already done that successfully. I guess the update is mainly for purists, lol.

1. I will link the most recent update so people don't have to flip through thread pages RIGHT HERE

2. After flashing that (If you haven't already) flash the 4.2.2-Browser-Update.zip (attached)

3. And here is a little treat from Adobe (Flash 11.1.115.47) RIGHT HERE

4. Enjoy

FOR PEOPLE WITH FLASHING ISSUES

Here is the raw Browser.apk for those who have issues flashing the ZIP. I am really clueless as to why it would work on some devices but not others.

but still the problem, web example: http://www.ikkaro.com/como-hacer-globo-aerostatico
the only thing that prevents the forced closure is disabling add-ons.

The ChromeSync from 4.2.1 should still be compatible but a 4.2.2 version still hasn't been released

Well since my last message I flashed my nexus 7 to the paranoid android 3.00 rom which got the browser working perfectly.

However I then flashed the two latest nightly releases (23 then 24) and since then the same problem of freezing has occurred.

No matter what I do I can't get it to work.

Please can anyone suggest a solution as this is so frustrating.

Here you go

Before going on, this flashable ZIP is the easiest way:
4.2.0:

4.2.1:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...7&d=1354392850

Here is the link to the apk I used, it is from a Nexus S JB ROM, but ICS may work too. IDK:

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/11759879/Browser.apk

I used ES file explorer with root permissions to do this.

Just place this app in your /system/app folder, change the permissions from rw------- to rw-r--r--

NOW this is important, If you see a browser browserproxyprovider.odex You should rename them! I just threw a 1 after the file extensions.
If you don't do this step the browser will just forceclose.

Now reboot and you are all set

I haven't tested everything yet. But it loads webpages and the settings menu. I will check flash and make sure everything is fine with chrome when I'm no longer in class.

Flash work perfectly. Better than it did on ics
Whoo!

Note: If you have any issues, please try wiping cache and dalvik

Thanks.. should have found this before trying dolphin etc.. works on my RAZR M... Flash?

That seems to have done the trick.
I'm running the 4.2.1 version, will that be an issue as I'm on jb 4.2.2?
Thanks
