Damn I feel way behind. I haven't been looking for updates with this, I wonder if this is a big problem why I have had minor problems with ROMs recently. Hopefully it fixes it! Definitely like this far more than CWM.

Can I ask how the hell I theme this? I've tried twice and it just keeps throwing my phone into a boot loop in recovery mode.

Noob question:

While file is flashable via PDA slot in ODIN? .img or img.tar? I know .zips are only flashable IN recovery.

Stock AT&T 4.0.4 Note.

So do I need to convert one of the above to .tar? The TWRP download site only shows the above options..http://goo.im/devs/OpenRecovery/sgh-i717/

I'm running Win8.

No you have it right. Just worry about the file extension .tar...so what you're calling .img.tar is a tar file. You'll also notice when you click pda in Odin, it will only see the file with that extension.

Sorry for the confusion. The build script I wrote tars up the img for odin and leaves img in the filename.
