Phone [Q] Nexus S dead/bricked!

Hello,

I've recentle flashed the new CM monthly.
As expected, it hasn't been very stable. The screen froze every few days, but removing/replacing the battery solved that.
However now after such a freeze I haven't been able to turn it back on.

The screen, button LEDs stay off, no matter if the phone is plugged in or not. I've even tried another battery without success.
It isn't visible to my computer even in fastboot mode (Vol + & power on), however it will get slightly warmer when plugged in.
Any ideas?

Thanks!

That sounds like a HW issue. Can you get into download mode? (Vol up + Vol down + power button). If so, try to use ODIN to restore it.

No, nothing happens. Odin doesn't seem to recoginze it either.

Yeah, most definitely hardware. Needless to say a return has to happen. Sorry. I might have to return mines too. But I might as well upgrade.

I'm having the same issue.
More information here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2162141

I have warranty on the phone until April.
Do you think that this is covered by warranty?
Even if my screen's got a crack?

Edit: If not, would applying the UnBrickable Mod help?

Thanks for answering.

So send it to Samsung and say to keep the screen cracked. They fix it for free in your case, don't get crazy like me for that.
