It's not just HDR, the whole camera software is reason enough to skip CM on this device.
Or can we expect the stock camera app to be soon available from within a CM clone?
CM is not a clone, and your post is useless trolling that should find a better place in /dev/null.
This is not the thread to discuss your reasons to install custom roms or not, if you are not interested, why not wait until august to get 4.2 roms from sony ?
I have the device for a couple of days and while pretty usable, the hardware deserves more.

Why does the hardware deserve more? Is the stock sony rom really that laggy?

CM allows much higher level of customisation, i.e. I don't like how icons look, I didn't find how to add gps on/off switch to status bar switches and I changed the launcher right away as original is very limited..
Frankly I would prefer a MIUI rom, as I'm quite used to it.

You clearly misunderstood, I am a CM fan and have had all my phones modded with CM.
Love the fact it will be available on this phone; was merely pointing out that as the sony camera is custom HW and as we know CM does not support it, it would be great to see someone porting it to a CM clone (that's right, CM is not a clone, but there are CM clones out there-read the post). Otherwise you have to admit CM cam software will cripple the cam and might be a dealbreaker for some.
Having said that, you are right, my post does not belong to this thread and neither do the posts I replied to.
I think you mean "unofficial" and not "clone". No biggie though.
One future "request": Make an option to set the power button as a power shutter in the camera app so we can take pictures using the power button. The Galaxy Note (that I have) has this feature, and it would be perfect for the Z.
Note: I have no idea if this build already has this feature. If it does have it, ignore me.

You're in the wrong forum. Go to the X10i section here at XDA. Also, I'll bet an arm and a leg that there's no CM10.1 for the X10i, but you're welcome to search for it.
