Re: [ROM][19FEB'13][JB4.2.2] ★★★★ HyperDroidJBX v2.5 ★★★★

Guys, I'm new to this ASOP lark so I'm hoping someone can help me out....
I tried this rom out and everything seems to work perfectly for my everyday use, the only thing that doesn't is Netflix. It loads up and signs in but if I select something to watch it just sits on the loading screen and doesn't start the film.
Is this normal? Or is there something I need to do?
This is the only thing that has made me revert back to Wanam.

Re: [ROM][19FEB'13][JB4.2.2] ★★★★ HyperDroidJBX v2.5 ★★★★

yes but for Google search app it says "this version isn't compatible with your device"

There's been an update to the play store so your play store has probably auto updated to the new one which isn't multi DPI. Over in the Android Apps & Games section of XDA you should be able to find a modded multi DPI version of the play store, install that and it should work.

Maybe someone for #891? :D

as far as I know the SDS fix is implemented in kernels, and this version of redpill should have it fixed.
If not, CM has had it fixed for a while anyway and this is CM10.1 based so it should be fixed.

Either way the answer is yes

On another note, it sucks that Kristof's build rig died just before the new r3p1 drivers were implemented in CM, I'd love to see how those fare against r2p4 and r3p0.

Fixed the build pc, apparently the CMOS backup battery just died, took me nearly ten hours to find the error, I even took the computer completely apart.

Now my only problem is getting nvidia drivers to work with Ubuntu 12.10...

Linus: "F*** you nVidia" :) Nice you're back. And going back to the rom: how about attempts with linaro and ext4? It seems that in this semester i will have quite much time and if there will be any way I could help... I have even full LinuxMint bootable from usbstick :D

BTW, is there any chance of adding exfat to the kernel now there's a full open source kernel available?
You'll have to ask Pongster as he does everything kernel side as far as I know.
He was trying to get ext4 support a while ago which would negate the need for exfat support, but I'm not sure if any more progress has been made.

Camera isn't working

Hey kristof,
I've a huge problem.
The camera app always goes down if I want to take a picture. normally with lightning or auto-lightning activated.
Hope you could try to eliminate this bug :)

If it happens while you're trying to "tap to focus" -> that's normal, a known CM10.1 bug.

no, it happens if i take the picture. then the lightning comes very slow and it says "the applikation 'Gallery' was closed"
then i have a fully grey picture instead of that what i wanted to take a photo of.
sorry for my english, but I'm Austrian and so some words I can't translate correctly

You may find something useful here: <http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-7252572.html?sid=d2109056a6bd876d29bce95c43d6a3e7>

FWIW, though the Gentoo and Arch patches seem to work, I'm sticking with an earlier kernel (3.7.9)+driver (313.18) combination 'til Nvidia encorporates a fix.

I just install this ROM and it works like a charm! Glad kristofpetho put in all the effort into making this ROM a great one. All the features and apps are working
smoothly except for my original Samsung Bluetooth headset (HM1200). Is there anyway i could donate a bit to the developer? Thanks.

Welcome to HyperDroidAOXP (Android Open-Source Xtreme Project), a ROM developed for people who like to build up their own ROMs with a minimal, yet functional working base. The Android Open-Source Xtreme Project is an Android Aftermarket Firmware project that is built off the latest AOSP source as customized by the SlimRom Team.
    Highlights:
    • Built from source (HyperDroid Github), based on SlimRom and CyanogenMod 10.1
    • Major Features from AOSP based SlimROM.
    • Some features from CM and AOKP are also included.
    • ROM Built using the stable Google Toolchain
    • Stweaks, EasyUMS and Superuser built-in with a Settings entry
    • OTA powered by goo.im
    • 3rd party Apps that I find as essential are included (these are the ones I install after every fresh flash and are installed in data/app so you can easily uninstall them) e.g. Titanium Backup, Google Keep and Flipboard
    • Gapps by SlimRom built-in (including Google Now and Face Unlock)
    Performance Features:
    • Sysctl enabled, auto zipalign for ALL apps, cron schedules enabled
    • Custom hosts file to block ads
    • Sysctl tweaks included for performance
    Kernel Features:
    • Powered by the latest RedPill kernel built using the latest Linaro Toolchain! Please check the XDA thread of RedPill.
    Look, Feel, Fit & Finish:
    • Hybrid theme for the most professional look: Thanks to all 3 people!
    • Some Lucid PNG's by sonnysekhon
    • Black Exodus by Nitroz
    • AlloyWhite theme by xIC-MACIx
    • LCD Density at 242 by default

    • Complete Gapps + Essential Apps (Google Keep, Terminal, etc.)
