If we install a camera apk with photosphere does it play nice with all of the camera work y'all have done? Or are you modifying the camera app itself to work on our device?
Be thankful...donate to your cooks AND XDA!

We work on the 'behind the scenes' stuff. we haven't messed with the camera app itself.

I haven't flashed a nightly, currently on a sense based rom, but is the screen tearing still present?

Still there but not near as bad as it used to be, I actually don't even think I would notice it now if I didn't look for it.

Just sharing my battery stats. 3 hours of screen on time! Also, anyone know why Google services is near the top? Thanks!

I just got my one x two days ago and installed cm10.1 immediately. I'm not sure if it's been mentioned, and I'm not reading this entire thread, but if you go to developer options and tick "Disable HW Overlay" and "Force 4x MSAA" the screen tear is almost nonexistent. Note that the changes will not stick and the options must be re ticked after every boot.

I installed photosphere tonight and it seems to work just as well as the stock camera app... Unfortunately, it didn't fix the bugs but, as far as I can tell, it didn't introduce any new ones either.

I get pretty terrible battery life on this ROM. I was used to getting at least 13 hours on CM10 but now I'm getting like 10. Anything I can do? The phone actually seems to go into deep sleep and have less time awake on 10.1 compared to 10, but it chews through battery.
