Yep... I knew it just needed to cycle about. Now the drain is steady. =). Guess it was just patience needed.

I'm always testing files and trying to improve any of the 3 ROM's, I make my own versions for my testing (or my kids), then have folders on PC with brief notes for myself... then I get sick of seeing so many files and folders from changes (which is really a good thing)...
I then extract the previous Rom to a folder and add the files and such of my testing Rom's with notes (so I know 100% what has changed and can't say things like "and more misc changes" or things I forgot example) hope that made sense.
Basically there is no accidents or I tested too much and somehow it worked response.

I have modem to newest version. My R4 Rom had all files from UV...C stock (except ones mention in R4.07 add on changes...framework-res.apk, SystemUI.apk, etc)...
In that add on I started with stock UV...C files then changed code for mods as I knew it myself...
Having said this, since R4 has mod'd files from other Rom's, it is possible that same mod'd file had possibly gps tweaks, data tweaks, or other stuff I'm not aware of. What I can say is, I know what I did to all files from R4.07 to current.

Just a thought, maybe try using R5 ROM with older R3 (framework-res.apk, SystemUI.apk, or few others)
It would be easy to extract my ROM, customize it ur way, and recompress to .zip and flash or manually add back files after flash R5 orig.

I'm still away from PC, can't improve till back home, I already know to update SuperSu, market 3.10.14 and inverte it., etc.

This will be like big testing for me personally these 1-2 weeks away from home...so far loving my R5.00 version, I've been able to listen to way to many mp3's, Pandora music (Use's internet ), unlimited skips was excellent for both audio apps, maps with GPS usage (sometimes I choose all 3 check box,s in the menu to get it working quickly and save time), I hotspot'd for friends in many locations...was easy, fast, and worked excellent...battery life has actually been unbelievable , others on their cell phones been stuck to walls while charging all the time while I been doing anything I want worry free, used Google a lot, YouTube, Google now. last 3 days of parties, I've able to find what I want, anytime, even able to show quick videos (youtube) to friends in fast time...this Rom has made me look good to many (as a guy with cool phone, not dev).

Great to see this kind of - dare I say - dedication from a developer with a helpful testimonial. Keep up the good work! I made an aosp lockscreen flashable zip for both the slim and stock uvdljc roms; I just need to upload them and post links when I get back to my computer.

Mr. Developer, just food for thought...
Could you make the phone app some what like AOSP, meaning with swipe you can go between "keypad" "logs" "Favorites" and "Contacts"
I hate to clikc at the top, it's little hard while driving
Thanks for your help
Again, LOVE THE ROM...
Thanks SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH

That's not him, that's how Samsung Phone app works. Just put the AOSP phone app in, I think it should work.

Default hotspot

I hate to be this way but, can anyone give me pointers on getting the hotspot working for me? Resetting the default settings isnt working for me. I also reflashed, cleared cache and dalvick and fixed permissions. For some reason I'm still unlucky with my hotspot. Everything else works great! My battery life is better for sure and data speess feel good, but I'm in Houston so I know data is good around here as well so. But hotspot, no love lol. Help please?

Have you tried factory reset+system wipe before flashing?

Are you getting the T-Mobile screen on your phone, or other device, or both?
