Make sure ur renaming extensions to .ogg if still mp3, rename stock sounds to .bak or delete and don't forget to match permissions with stock ones.

Did that but can only get the sounds to work when I replace the pen. I'm not getting any sound when I pull out the pen.

Should look like the pic if renaming stock sound files, and same for Pen_det. Pen_det files are the sounds used when removing the pen so just mirror what you did with the Pen_att files. Not sure what else could be going on.

Lexus ISF sound
I thought some may be interested in this. I converted a MP3 I got from Lexus that is an ISF starting up and revving.

I didn't use for the Spen but as the bootup sound instead. Thus the filed is called "PowerOn.ogg" If you want to use for the started, just add to the directory: system/media/audio/ui/SPR/ On a side note, I have no idea why there are so many PowerOn.ogg files on a our phone. But that's the directory that worked.

Of course, you need to be rooted, and use an appropriate file manager that can do root access. You'll need -rw-r--r-- permissions enabled.

If you're going to use for something else, just remain it appropriately.
