Didn't expect much flashing this rom but damn its good!!! Works flawlessly, isn't many that does that. Three I've found through the last year and i've tried most of them.

The three is Ordroid, InsertCoin and BugX!!!

BugX is the one that's the most exciting so far, and really smooth and fast! So far battery is excellent and the aroma installer is top notch!!!

I must congratulate to Seb for this piece of work, and if anyone is bored and tired of roms that studders or have flawes try this one, you won't be disappointed!!!

maybe your drive is not formatted correct

maybe it is a good idea to go in recovery
connect your usb ,mount your sdcard
pull all the stuff off the sdcard
format it with windows again
and put all the stuff back

if you have stock kernel there will be no readahead settings
dont use rom toolbox
use setcpu

I cannot find readahead sttings...

readahead is max cpu load value?

you can change does settings only if the kernel supports it
NCX 17b, and i have set cpu, and i cannot find readahead.... is that max cpu load vaue?

I have your repacked kernel, i got setcpu, now how to set your settings?

you must figure it out by yourself now
maybe ask a other person

i dont use setcpu by myself ,i use system tuner pro but that one is not free

so i dont known if setcpu support readahead settings

you can try no frills it is free i think

edit: i also include all 4 bootanimations in the next version with preview

What if any benefits are people finding from the different kernels?. Any recommendations over stock?

There is just a few that i can think of, may be less battery drain, may be faster response, and if you want stock, AleksV kernel- stock with sweep to wake may be biggest advantage. as i'm not a gamer i can't find some revolutionary advantages.

Seems like I'm a little late to the party... I've been a long time fan of Seb's work (and Prof Peach's support) since the Runnymede AIO days on my Desire, but since that got discontinued and I got my HOX last summer I've been relying on Football's roms. But since he and his threads mysteriously disappeared from xda my "flashoholism" is starting to creep out.

I have flashed Evervolv 4.2.2 roms on my old Desire in the meanwhile to have something to flash, but since it's not my primary phone anymore I felt like flashing something new on my HOX this weekend, and when browsing around xda I stumbled upon this familiar developer

So yesterday I upgraded my hboot from 1.36 to 1.39 and installed BugX 2.8.3 and so far everything seems fine, fast and nice looking

The only issue I've had so far is that the HTC power dashboard widget has crashed on me twice since yesterday. Any ideas why?

Edit: Just when I had sent this I realized that the EQS already has the same features as I used to use in the power dashboard (toggle wifi/autosync) along with some other nice features, so I guess I'll just remove the widget
