So yesterday I upgraded my hboot from 1.36 to 1.39 and installed BugX 2.8.3 and so far everything seems fine, fast and nice looking

The only issue I've had so far is that the HTC power dashboard widget has crashed on me twice since yesterday. Any ideas why?

Edit: Just when I had sent this I realized that the EQS already has the same features as I used to use in the power dashboard (toggle wifi/autosync) along with some other nice features, so I guess I'll just remove the widget

did you had it before with older versions of bugx with HTC power dashboard widget

Cheers. I meant any specific kernel giving best battery, performance etc. In not a gamer so only looking for good battery, smooth and things like s2w are a bonus.

i have now mx repacked kernel installed
will see how it goes

lyapota should add the s2w on/off option and s2unlock on/off option in the mod

that would be really nice

Haven't tried BugX until yesterday. Never had issues with it on the maXimus roms I was on before, but as I realized just after posting it, I'll use the EQS instead so it's not really an issue for me.

Nexus 7's great. Never used an iPad so can't compare but I doubt its twice the machine for the price. The N7 is as smooth and fast as the hox with the same processor so I'm more than happy. Paranoidandroid v3 Rom allows loads of customisation.
Laptops feeling a bit redundant for the past few weeks. I'd probably never switch it on if I wasn't for the graphics software I use.

If you are satisfied with few more battery hours, then try NCX rom, im fine with it but i never know how to set cpu to how i would like it to will experiment with settings.

I wouldnt be surprised if he's working on it right now as he's usually pretty quick to update.
He's been without a pc for a while but up and running again this week.
