I believe some similar problem will be also present with the latest Sammy 4.2.1 beta that was just leaked a few days ago!

No support for the 4.2.1 leak sucks, it just bricks the device, guess my ears will have to suffer through stock sound until it's fixed...

Or you stay on 4.1.2 until gokhan updates his kernel, which is the better option IMO, as a leak most likely contains some bugs.

Btw, cm10.1 hellybean build from 02-21 runs just fine here with 1.8.9...

Hi guys,

Can someone please answer me a few quick questions?

My setup: International S3 16GB with stock Omega ROM v41 (4.1.2)

1. I have the tweak that swaps sd card memory with internal memory (so that the internal now shows 64gb and the external 16gb, the card is exfat)
If I install this kernel will I need to restore the my data?

2. Will the swap above work right away or do I need to flash it again to swap the memories after the kernel install?

3. Do I need to do a clean install/format everything or will I just flash the kernel and it will be ok?

Siyah kernel needs to be upgraded for new leaked 4.2.1 sammy rom and cm10.1...After installing the rom, that is not booted and seen black screen...

Hi.

Dual Booting doesn't work anymore. The first test was okay. I put RR3.1.4 as second rom and had RevolutionHD as first rom and everything works fine.
But now it doesn't matter wich rom i want to flash as second rom, the first rom is booting as there is no second one. I tried it 10 times by now with different roms.
only one rom booting.

i read the OP carefully but i couldn't find a solution for this problem.

Edit: I don't know how but i solved it
