AK ftw. Also the stock kernel is pretty good with this ROM but no color control that was a no go for me

Franco has been horrible for me after 4.2.x... AK not much better. It wasn't until I switched to Revolution + Leankernel that the GNEX started working well for me with 4.2.

Is there another kernel that is very close to stock?

Try this:

Download Franco Updater
Download my settings based from osmosis's frequencies and settings: http://db.tt/XGi1gIx8

Download stock kernel for 4.2.2: http://db.tt/MDNG2JJh

Install stock kernel
Install Franco updater
Copy my settings to kernel backup folder
Open Franco Updater
Restore the file that you just moved to the kernel backup
Reboot

Try that out, I was using it when 4.2.2 arrived to my phone.

Mirrors are not allowed. You can try to download again and it should select some other server.

Oh sorry! Didn't knew that.
This is 3rd time I am trying.
Its so slow.
I will try again.
I don't think so it has to do with my internet speed. Because I have fibre optic (100 Mbps)
Thanks!
