Is Allshare Cast working on this Rom?

will work without us having to go completely stock?

I got the Allshare dongle for 2 months now and I never been able
to use it yet....Can you please help us with this? Maybe you can implement
it in your Roms?

As far as I know, flashing the all share package from goodybag will get you all set.

How about the "Nearby Devices" setting just above it? I'm thinking of using DLNA as a way to get files to and from my Ubuntu box, since linux still doesn't do MTP right. Can this be used to transfer media files? Right now I'm using Airdroid, which is fine for a few ROMs, but moving whole directories isn't supported, and I have a lot of music to move over.

As far as Allshare, it does not work on anything that is "modified".
The app somehow "checks" to see if you are stock or not and
refuses to connect with the dongle. I was thinking that you can
take the app apart and remove the checking from it.
