Even overclocked with nova launcher on im getting pretty solid battery life, I might give one of the AK kernels a shot. For those of you who have used both, what are your thoughts? Playing with nova in conjunction with the different hybrid settings is a little finicky but if anyone want my list of settings pm me.

I've used both, though I admittedly haven't used Franco on 4.2.2, just 4.2.1 and eariler. I personally much prefer AK kernels. There's nothing wrong with franco, but my phone seems to like AK better. Especially pirates. Pirates has made my phone fly! The ROM and the work they’ve done on it has a lot to do with that speed too, I’m sure. I know on the Feb-9th with AK Purity kernel, my phone was getting extremely slow, but I think that may have been due to some stuff I did. I did a clean flash on the beta-blobs build, and it took off! I do have mine oc’ed a little, to 1350000 I think, and minimum is 180000, but it was super fast even before the kernel tweaking, just leaving Pirates at stock settings. I use Nova Prime as well, and I honestly haven’t been this happy with the way my phone is set up in a long time. There are still some things I’d like to see in the ROM, but none of it is major deal-breaker stuff anymore, at least for me. I would happily recommend PA 3.0 to anybody now…
