But really it's just weird, and you should ask Metallice.

Thanks for the reply, I do have the 4.1.8 bootloader....and that's the newest one we have, right?

Also, It does run fine on the latest Franco kernel.....

Anyway, I will try to do as you recommend.

Thanks

I tried them and immediately went back to stock. Since I was on PA back when it was CM based, I have a certain idea of what sizing I'm looking for, and these are just too small for my taste.

Cheers to the dev for pushing these out to the community, they just aren't for me.

Could we have a quick-pin unlock option for PIN and Password Security like AOKP/CM has? When you type in the correct PIN it automatically unlocks.

Is it recommended to reboot after flashing a ROM and then flash gapps? I always thought it was ok to flash the ROM and gapps back to back in the same recovery session.

Flashing the rom and gapps in the same session is the way it is supposed to be done. It is recommended to do do the initial boot into the newly flashed rom before flashing a kernel though.

I always flash kernels in the same session as the ROM and gapps and have never had an issue.

I got the m37 and flash it in recovery, on PA 3(Feb 09) (not sure which kernel I was coming from, because I haven't touch the kernel for a long time) anyway, I flashed it and it was all good to boot up,

But right after the boot animation, the screen started to flash randomly, sometimes it would even be blacked for awhile (I am sure it's not in standby mode) which means the OS is running, but the screen constantly flashing.

After restart it a few times, and also re-flash the kernel, problem still existed

I had no choice but to flash another kernel - Franco. Now the tablet acts as normal, but I would like to try m-kernel as you guys said it had good battery life.

By any chance would any of you guys know what went wrong? Was I doing it wrong in the process?

Huge thanks!!

I use Franco kernel + franco kernel updater app, so far so good. There are many settings available if you use the app, including how to safe power. I used to use tricsktermod app, but missing many settings.
Franco is genius, I think.
