I found kind of a workaround for the crt-off effect going too fast.
If you want to disable it go to developer settings and change animator duration scale to off.
If you want to make it go slower and look like a normal crt effect change it to 1.5x but this will make the animations when changing between windows slower too.
After changing you have to reboot your phone.
Hope this can be fixed also by cm team :thumbup:

Generally all modems work everywhere..though with different performance...all the modems can be found in the modem & RIL thread..

I have detected a graphic glitch scrolling Facebook notifications. BTW new Mali driver works great!!!

Thanks man, I really like the slower crt effect, sure it was like that in earlier cm! I know some people aren't keen but it's one of the little touches I love about this rom. I'm hoping to apply the effect to cm10.1 on my a700 tablet, for some reason it's absent.

My best solution for the no voice in calls is to adjust the volume sound. I do that a lot.

You still have a mobile network connection otherwise your phone wouldn't work. But data traffic will use WiFi.
