DashNet is a DashClock extension that will allow you to have all the information about your network at a glance.

SOLVED with 1.5.3 If DashNet isn't visible in the main widget please use this Special release for some custom ROMs (eg. SlimBeam):
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ay24fxdt6u54nk3/DashNet.apk
you can read more about this issue here

DashNet will show you the details on the currently active connection, whether it is WiFi or GSM:

With active WiFi connection

DashClock compressed:
  • SSID

DashClock expanded:
  • SSID
  • WiFi speed
  • IP
  • mobile network type and operator name

With active Mobile connection
DashClock compressed:
  • connection type (UMTS, GPRS ecc ecc)

DashClock expanded:
  • connection type and operator name
  • line name (if existing)

By tapping on DashClock you'll get:
with WiFi active
  • IP
  • DNS1
  • DNS2
  • Gateway
  • SSID
  • BSSID
  • WiFi speed
  • RSSI
  • MAC address
  • IPaddresses for all the active connection

with Mobile active:
  • operator name
  • line name
  • network type
  • signal strength in dBm
  • CID
  • LAC
  • network activity (in, out, inout, none)
  • IPaddresses for all the active connection

Tested on Galaxy Nexus (GSM), Nexus7 (WiFi only), Nexus 4 (GSM9 and Nexus 5.

Comment and suggestions are welcome!!!

Re: [APP][4.2+] DashNet extension for DashClock
Thanks! I've been looking for an extension like this

One question though... Is there any way we can have the signal show instead of having HSPA T-Mobile?

Good job!

I'm happy you find DashNet useful !
I had initially planned, but it consuming too much battery, so I preferred to leave this information the Activity.
Thanks

I don't know if this has been asked before. I am having a problem with the extension. I love it by the way. When I first added dashnet to my nexus 4 I was getting detailed information about my data network. I don't know what I did, but the detailed info about my data network does not show up anymore. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling a few times, but it still won't show anymore. All of the detailed info show for WiFi networks that I connect to.

(we just talk by mail, I answered here too for others users could have the same question)
You did nothing, the 1.1 update removed the "-- ---" in the seconds row (when Mobile connection is active), so if you haven't a line name there is shows nothing.
