Re: [Kernel][03/17/2013] CoCore-E 5.0
Hm
I will reduce the chrg threshold by default.
And the frandom,it works.
But when replace urandom with it,all OpenGl apps FC (AnTuTu,nenamark2...)
So forget it.
And,i notice that enabling force GPU rendering makes system lag
I have to study these days,so cant check xda frequently.
And bootanimation goes weird in latest builds,really weird.
No time to fix until Sunday.

* Default Mic2 gain is 9(≈+20dB) (max: 0(+31dB) )
* Remove bootanimation kill this service(system will kill it automatically)
* Increase Mali Max buffers os memory 16mb -> 64mb (experimental...i want it cache more....)
* Added dbearlysuspend delay (optional)
Goto /sys/module/fbearlysuspend/parameters
Echo Y to fbdelay to enable
fbdelay_ms is the delay time(ms)
* Note2 guys said 50ms(default) was good for them

downloads: d-h.st/1gO (zImage binary,TWRP)

Working on clock control module these days...

I'd suggest that you work your way through the change-logs and see if there is anything mentioned about BLN support, then you'll have your answer.

This isnt so noob-friendly thread , cocafe , would you get me straight to the point? Im looking for a custom kernel and i was about to use thunderzap but i wanna try cocore E because i saw it on many xda members' signature that they are using Cocore so i thought id use yours but im no wide reader or just a reader so im lazy reading all about these posts so can you get me to the point?

I wanna know:
1. Whats the consequences of using it?
2. How can i install it?
3. Can i uninstall it when i got it already installed?
4. What is the benefit of changing to stock Kernel to CoCore?
5. What are the Downsides of CoCore?

Thats all i wanna know for now but if i ask questions again please take time to answer it
P.S im on XXLQ4 , Stock Kernel

2 - Read installation info,
3 - Here ; XXLQ4 Stock Kernel If you don't like it, you can turn to stock with same methods,
4 - Read changelog info,
5 - Depends on usage, try and see.
