The phone is basically the Desire X in an another suit

If the Gigabyte phone supports 720p, then it's definitely possible for the DX too, it's just a matter of time...

No It's not. It has dual SIM and 512 MB of RAM.

MSM8225 with Adreno 203 don't record/play 720p.
Only MSM8225Q (quad core) with Adreno203 can do that.

So... somewhere must be a mistake!

The hardware of the Desire X does indeed support 720p capturing/playback. Sadly, HTC disabled this.

nah bro.. qualcomm officially doesnt support 720p on dual core.. only on quad

Sony Xperia Play: 1Ghz single core processor + adreno 205 (adreno 205 < adreno 203) + 512Mb of ram. It supports 720p recording, why? I really can't understand that
