Default 720p recording on Adreno 203 is possible

Just noticed this Gigabyte phone: http://www.gsmarena.com/gigabyte_gsmart_rio_r1-5400.php
The phone is basically the Desire X in an another suit

If the Gigabyte phone supports 720p, then it's definitely possible for the DX too, it's just a matter of time...

Edit: oops, I missclicked the thread, this should be in General not Q&A... q.q

MSM8225 with Adreno 203 don't record/play 720p.
Only MSM8225Q (quad core) with Adreno203 can do that.

So... somewhere must be a mistake!

The hardware of the Desire X does indeed support 720p capturing/playback. Sadly, HTC disabled this.

Sony Xperia Play: 1Ghz single core processor + adreno 205 (adreno 205 < adreno 203) + 512Mb of ram. It supports 720p recording, why? I really can't understand that
