I have reuploaded to Dev-Host, but they don't have direct downloading. Replace Stage 1 with the following:

Download: kernel_script.zip - 225.66 MB

In a terminal:

Code:
unzip ${HOME}/Downloads/kernel_script.zip -d ${HOME}
Then continue guide at Stage 2

Has anyone made a new kernel version that's working with Epinter's CM10? I can't use the ROMs available as they cause sound issues that make the phone useless. Thanks!

Please, use the official CM10.1 epinter's build. Now with the kernel:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2060064

If there is some troubles with that specific version, please use krystianp's CM9.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2286515

Those both are official builds made by officials team members. . Thanks them for they work.

Read his post. Really he should work with the devs to try and solve the issues, but he wanted to know if he could try CM10.

Read: sound issues.

Is there anyway you'd be willing to use this script to bake the Epinter CM10 with the new kernel for me, please? I only ask because I tried to install Ubuntu on my computer, but I'm not able to boot into a different OS, as my computer is issued to me from my work. Also, as I stated before, I wanna try this method to determine whether my sound issues are ROM or kernel related. If you can't, don't wanna, or are too busy, I completely understand. Thanks for any help and consideration!

Hey, I don't have an Ubuntu installed right now as I had issues with Windows and had to reinstall.

Did you try rebooting? Did you flash GAPPS?

Can you be more specific about how your problem occurred?

I may be able to throw together a CM10 with the new kernel, but not today.

Well, basically, I think there's an issue with my headphone jack. In ROMs which show a headset icon when headphones are plugged in, my phone shows that there are always headphones plugged in. The only way I've been able to work around this is by using an app called "Sound About". It allows you to bypass the headphone jack pretty much. However, when using the original releases of ICS ROMs and any ROM with the new kernel, I am unable to use the Sound About app to bypass the headphone jack...I'm guessing, and therefore I get the one sound click when trying to adjust volume. I've tried rebooting after installing, as well as trying before and after having flashed GAPPS. Since I had the problem on original versions of ICS ROMs, but not original CM10.1 (old kernel version), I'm trying to pursue all options before assuming it's the new kernel. Thanks again for the help!
