Angry Rogers HTC Dream Build help

I am trying to restore my phone to the original state.
I managed to get root but I stupidly put in a theme that messed up my phone.
Every time I go into the recovery utility the Build says:
CyanogenMod v1.2 + JF

How do I get rid of this and put the real Build back?
I have been searching for hours.

please help!

That would be the build for your recovery; it's irrelevant unless you want your phone back to exactly how it was when you first got it.

You'll need to restore a nandroid backup. It shouldn't be hard to find out how to do it but try here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=538134.

Thats exactly what I want to do, to get it back to the way I first got it.
I want to get rid of that Build. I managed to restore it and fixed the boot problem, but that Build is still there.
I want to get it back to the way it was cause everytime I try to root, it doesnt work. the market enabler doesnt work.

reloading the boot.img and system.img from that link should set it back to stock Rogers.

You seem to misunderstand me. I assume you want it to run like how it did when you first got it. And that's exactly what you have done from following the thread I linked you, I assume.

The CyanogenMod v1.2 + JF is ONLY for the recovery. It doesn't have anything to do with your boot problem.

This statement is not quite correct.

To get it EXACTLY like it was before. You would also need to do something about that recovery.img (which is called CyanogenMod v1.2 + JF). Unless you're returning the phone to Rogers or you have OCD, that should not matter and doing what the thread says will be fine.
