You seem to misunderstand me. I assume you want it to run like how it did when you first got it. And that's exactly what you have done from following the thread I linked you, I assume.
The CyanogenMod v1.2 + JF is ONLY
for the recovery. It doesn't have anything to do with your boot problem.

This statement is not quite correct.
To get it EXACTLY
like it was before. You would also need to do something about that recovery.img (which is called CyanogenMod v1.2 + JF). Unless you're returning the phone to Rogers or you have OCD, that should not matter and doing what the thread says will be fine.
