[ UMI X2 ] CWM recovery , English Version only

Hello Guys
Again Come with CWM English Version Recovery for UMI X2

M Not Responsible for Any Damage of your device in any condition , use at your own RISK

Note :-> Tested on Indian Version 1.2 GHZ only , m not sure about 1.5 GHz Turbo
I also post Screenshot of my device recovery screen check attachments for proof

How to install ClockworkMod Recovery on your UMI X2 ? here we go

Requirements :-> Check Attachments for tools

1.-> Device must Rooted
2.-> Mobile Uncle Tools For Mediatek
3.-> CWM recovery.img files download it from here

Very Easy & safe way to FLASH CWM RECOVERY Without having PC

steps:->

1. Downlaod CWM Recovery extract it and copy recovery.img only to root of your SD Cards
{ i.e. sdcard/recovery.img or sdcard2/recovery.img }

2: download Mobile Uncle Tools for MTK from the attachments and install it as normal apps

3. Now open Mobile Uncle Tools apps you recently installed.

4. grant Superuser permissions

5. There click on recovery update menu

6. Then click on the recovery image name of ‘ recovery.img ’

7. Let the app install the recovery. after that apps ask you for reboot your device in to recovery ? press yes

done your CWM recovery is appears there

But all this Screenshot not taken from UMI X2 , its form different device , i post it for and example only

this may work in all device , but m not sure and dont want that any one blame me after crashing their CWM or stock recovery thats why written that i only tested it on Indian Version of UMI X2 not in turbo edition

Actualy I have english v6.0.3.2 because with a very little smal letters

Has this version moore bigger letters?

this one is cwm 6.0.3.0 but small one too

i dont think so letters are important

Yes I am confirming it works on 2GB / 32GB Turbo version Umi X2. I would take a screenshot but I don't have another camera to use handy. I flashed with Mobileuncle tools and made a nandroid backup fine with it, flashed a different rom, hated it and reverted back to my old one with no problems. Yes letters are small but I am sure this is because it is FHD and really doesn't bother me at all.

I have that phone and not really, there are MIUI roms but they are mostly terrible. I really want UMI to release the Mediatek MTK6589T SOC source code so we can start compiling cyanogenmod for the X2 that would be fantastic but I fear it is not going to happen.

Why would they not release that? It would only make their devices more interesting.
Do you still think the X2 was a good choice?

It is an OK choice, although it has random rebooted a few times, had nothing but problems with GSM signal on HSDPA / HSPA+ though the newest rom seems to have sorted that pretty much, the one from 25/07/2013. Also the lack of source code is really annoying so no CM10.2, though apparantly they are bringing out Android 4.3 for the Umi X2 at some point soon.

Its ok, u find many custom and official rom or firmware updates here.

There go in category and find umi thats all u got what u need, but u have to register there before downloading any firmware.

Hello there where did you find the 20130725 firmware friend? I just couldnt install the one in the needrom. Thx in advance.

bro u can find update here in my sites even i modified it as per my usage and requirements , i,,,e added xperia package in latest brush pack of official umi china which released at 07082013 and build date is 25072013 , i modified it and make some changes , pre rooted, data apps, and gaps full included, multi language support and many more alos the one release by UMI China is Sp flash tool support only, i make them CWM flashable cuz here many user still dont know how to use sp flash tool and update firmware of their device.
