Thanks for the tip. Do you know what is the original DPI that the KFHD-7" use?
Yes, it's 240. Kinology uses 200.

Before I flashed everything, I wiped cache, dalvik, system and then factory reset. Then I flashed everything in order. Now the KFHD7 is stuck at the BLUE Kindle Fire logo. Any way to fix this?
Did you do step0 ?
I've had no luck with this, always leaves me with a boot loop.
Assuming you took a backup of stock from recovery - restore it.
Boot up once, then go back to recovery. Wipe as before and install in order, omitting step0
Hope that helps.
Recently rooted and installed Hashcode 2nd bootloader and TWRP with stock 7.4.3. on KFHD 7
I have downloaded 5 Kinology files 1a,1b,1c, 2 & 3. Do I need to download preparation files 0 as well? Also, do I need to wipe before I flash files?
Anyone got a guide please?

I actually didn't backup because I expected this to work. Also, I flashed everything except the first .zip because I already had a custom recovery installed. Any other suggestions? How do I boot into recovery
I am not sure if having 7.4.3 will be an issue, perhaps psych0phobia could comment, but I don't think it will be a problem since you are using TWRP. Also I agree with -a- the process is straightforward and the OP is clear on what to do & when!
However, I would add that in my experience it is better to wipe/flash the "0" file as well. I have installed Kinology both with and without wiping/flashing the 0 file -and it seemed to be a better install (cleaner and no quirks or unexpected reactions) when I installed using the wiping all old files option. Anyway, I think that option actually saves your data to another directory (but I could be mistaken -it's been a while since I have installed!)
Good Luck! you'll love Kinology (especially if you use the Amazon ecosystem -books, videos, etc.)
P.S. use TWRP and do a backup of your current ROM -it is a very valuable step and will save you tons a trouble later on!

I think I once or twice did the same ("this is going to work, so I don't need to backup") unfortunately, it's exactly those times that things go south
One recommendation -and sorry if this is obvious, or you have already done it; but when you see the blue screen for Amazon Kindle Fire (switching from the normal red letters), are you pressing/holding the volume up button? That is the one closest to the ear phone jack and the corner of the KFTT. That is the way to go from normal boot to recovery. . . .
You need to hold it or continue to press it for a while -and it takes a while to switch into TWRP. . .
Good Luck!
I was just wondering if you plan on a kinology rom based on update 7.4.3?

Hello. Will twrp 2.6.0 from hashcode work for installing this Rom? Thank you.

That is the sole purpose of recoveries.

Thank you for your response. I was asking in case v2.4.4.0 was the required version of recovery for this Rom. Thanks again. Trying this out tonight'
